Author Pack
Welcome to the 3D Render Daemon Author Style Sheet Guide
This document is meant to give you (Potential authors of articles / content) the ability to use the standard CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) as the 3DRD site, thus get a consistant look and feel to the whole document.
The first thing to note is that the style sheet must be attached to the document. The location of the CSS is not important as the content that you supply (The HTML page and pictures) will then be copied and pasted into the template, for uploading to the site. Hence, all that you should concern yourself with is laying out your page / tables to sit within this using the attached CSS.
Note: I cannot give you the template to insert in the page as you would require the whole site, Dreamweaver MX and multiple ISP logins. Its simpler if you just make a series of pages, then these are just copied and pasted in.
The Style Sheet
There are about 15 different styles that are used in the Daemon_StyleMain.css
First thing you note is the main font - this is applied to any text that is not formatted. (Body text) All links are underlined and formatted automatically for you.
Tables - require the body_Tables style to the outer table itself. Do not put inside a <DIV> If you select the entire table, then apply the style, the text should look the same as the body text.
For lists or multiple lines of text - use the LightBak style on each alternating row.
Headings (Such as The Style Sheet above use Heading 3 which makes the text larger and puts an underline in. This must be sat inside a <P> otherwise the line will not appear. (Check code when applying and no line is forthcoming ;)
The main title at the top of the page uses Heading 2_DP a large size black text.
Heading_LP is not used by Authors as this is the title to sections and in the template only. (Orange writing at the top of this page)
Lists for lists of items,
vrgrafixText I use to emphasise company names such as Realsoft3D or DynaDream etc.
Generally that is all that you should need to use. A list of all the styles and their look is included here:
